Frederick Raymond Mummey, age 53, of 2808 Pleasant Street, died in Healthwin hospital at 2:30 a.m. today after three years' illness with tuberculosis. Born in Bremen, Ind., July 2, 1892, he came to South Bend from Lapaz, Ind. 45 years ago. He was a World

War I veteran. Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Ora Marshman, of Argos, Ind.; Mrs. Myrtle Johnson, of Mishawaka; Mrs. Goldie Boocher, Mrs. Minnie Boocher and Mrs. Sylvia Powell, all of South Bend, and a brother, Omar, of Mishawaka. Friends may call at the Hillis chapel Friday night. The funeral will be held there at 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. W.A. Shipe, pastor of River Park Free Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery, Mishawaka
