Peter Mummey, aged 76 years, died at 3:20 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at his home, 1214 South Fourteenth Street, River Park. Death followed an illness of several months with paralysis. Mr. Mummy was born in Ohio, Dec. 2, 1837, and had lived in South Bend for 15 years, coming here from Plymouth, Ind. He was married 41 years ago to Miss Margaret Hadley, who survives him with the following children: Sylvia, Omar and Fred, living at home; Mrs. Mendenhall, Mrs. Ella Harker, Mrs. Della Johnson, Mrs. Irvin Coocher and Mrs. Arthur Bradstreet. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence. Rev. Mr. Bean officiating. Burial will be in the Mishawaka cemetery.
