These are pictures of the exhibition floor Sunday, July 14, at the Summer Show of the Midwest Antique Fruit Jar and Bottle Club at the Horizon Convention Center in Muncie, Indiana. Pictures and report were published in the July issue of Glass Chatter by the Midwest Antique Fruit Jar and Bottle Club.


Greg Spurgeon’s display of Trade Mark Lightnings won both the “People’s Choice” award and the “Dealer’s Choice” award. Congratulations to Greg on this double award!

The “Most Educational” award went to Dave Rittenhouse for a display consisting entirely of jars made in Delaware County, Indiana.

Ron Hands showed this colorful display of wax seal jars, from the mid to late nineteenth century.

Jean Harbron showed an informative display “Four Pints High and a Century Wide” of half-gallon fruit jars made between 1885 and 1996.

Glennie Burkette displayed a collection of Devon Violets from England.

Norm Barnett’s display featured some unusual closures for jars.

June Lowry had an alphabetical theme with “Fruit Jars from A to Z”.
