Greetings, Fellow Collectors and Friends!
Reflecting on the past year, I am filled with a profound sense of gratitude and joy. It has been an absolute privilege to serve the Midwest Antique Fruit Jar and Bottle Club, and I am beyond thrilled to serve for another year.
The time we’ve spent together—swapping stories at meetings, uncovering “basement finds,” and sharing the thrill of the hunt—reminds me why this hobby is so special. It isn’t just about the glass; it’s about the community we’ve built around it.
As I look toward the year ahead, I am mindful of the incredible work done by those who served before me. Our club stands on a foundation of passion and preservation, and I am honored to continue that legacy.
My primary goal for this upcoming term is to keep that momentum going. We have a unique opportunity to promote the hobby to a new generation of collectors.
There are several items in the works for the coming months to help cement the club’s future for years to come. Including updated By-laws and Constitution, solidification of our club’s social status, and opportunities for further growth.
Have an idea to expand the club’s foot-print or engage with additional collectors, reach out and share your ideas.
Thank you for your continued support, your enthusiasm, and your friendship. I look forward to another year of discovering history and promoting the hobby!
Matt
