Hello, fellow jar and bottle enthusiasts!
Can you believe it’s already August? The year is flying by, and I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Whether you’re out digging for new treasures, scouring antique shops, attending shows, or simply enjoying your collections, I hope you’re finding joy in our shared hobby.
With the national show under our belts, the next big show to look forward to will be our very own Midwest Antique Fruit Jar and Bottle Club’s annual show in January. I can’t wait to see what incredible pieces will be on display.
We’re also excited to announce that the club will be hosting its first-ever virtual Show and Tell in September. We’re adding this as a new opportunity for club members who may not be able to attend our monthly meetings in person. This will be a great way for everyone to share their finest finds and treasures with the club, no matter where you are.
I’m always amazed by the passion and dedication of our club members. Your knowledge of fruit jars, bottles, and all things related is truly inspiring. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing some incredible finds lately, and it’s a testament to the rich history we all work so hard to preserve.
Looking ahead, we have some exciting events and discussions planned for the coming months. As we gear up for fall, let’s keep the momentum going and continue to share our finds, stories, and expertise.
