I hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving and are now fully immersed in the holiday spirit. As the year winds down, our excitement ramps up, because the biggest event on our calendar—the Annual January Show—is just around the corner!

While we all dream of finding that elusive rarity—that perfect jar or that boldly embossed bottle—let’s be honest about what truly makes our January Show so special: it’s seeing all of your faces.
The show is our annual reunion, a place where friends and fellow collectors from across the country gather under one roof. It’s the opportunity to reconnect with collecting buddies we only see once a year, share a laugh over a meal, and catch up on the latest finds and research. It’s the moment when you walk onto the show floor and feel the buzz of shared enthusiasm, the camaraderie of people who get it. That sense of community is the best part of the hobby, and it’s why we look forward to the show all year.

As we close out 2025, I want to take a moment to thank every one of you for your dedication to the Midwest Antique Fruit Jar and Bottle Club. From attending our monthly meetings and the recent Pitch-in Dinner to simply sharing your knowledge with new collectors, your involvement is what keeps our club vibrant and our history alive.
