Hello MAFJ&BC Members,
I hope you’re all enjoying the beautiful warm weather and all the wonderful outdoor activities that come with summer. As you’re out and about, I also hope you get the chance to hunt for some beautiful glass in the wild!
July marks the halfway point to our MAFJ&BC Annual Show, and I’m excited to share that planning for 2026 is well underway. We’re already hard at work to make it a great event. If you have any ideas for workshops or displays you’d like to see, please reach out to me or any of the board members. We’d love to hear your suggestions!
Earlier this summer, I had the pleasure of visiting with fellow collector Dave Riley and seeing his incredible collection. It was a wonderful reminder of the importance of connecting with other hobbyists. Whether you’re sharing information, building friendships, or simply admiring someone’s collection, these connections are a vital part of our community. I encourage you all to take some time to connect with other collectors this summer.
Stay tuned for next month’s message, where I hope to share some exciting news about a new opportunity for you to share your collection with the club, no matter where you are!
Happy collecting, Matt
