Greetings fellow collectors,
I hope this message finds you well as we settle into the beautiful, warm days of June. Looking back at our recent gathering at the Cambridge City Show, I am still reflecting on what a meaningful experience it was for us all.
It was truly heartening to reconnect with so many familiar faces. Being together in person allowed us to celebrate the life and legacy of Marty Troxell properly, and I believe we honored his memory in the best way possible: by sharing the hobby he loved so dearly among the people who respected him most.
One of the most rewarding aspects of our time in Cambridge City was the opportunity to finally meet several collectors in person whom I had previously only known through online interactions. There is a unique and irreplaceable energy that happens when you bridge that gap—turning digital conversations into real-world friendships. It reminded me once again that while our shared passion for glass is what brings us together, the camaraderie and the genuine connections we build are what keep this club thriving.
As we move further into the summer season, I encourage you to keep that momentum going. Reach out to those new friends you met, share your latest finds, and continue to support the shows that keep our community vibrant.
Thank you to everyone who made the trip to Cambridge City. I left the show feeling energized and incredibly proud of the fellowship we share. I look forward to seeing many of you again at our upcoming events as we continue to grow and learn together.
Matt
