Greetings
I have been reading about, and hearing reports of the Houston National Antique Bottle & Glass Expo 2024, and it sounds like it was a fantastic show. Unfortunately, we were not able to attend this year, but from first hand reports and from what I have read in the latest Antique Bottle & Glass Collector, it was certainly the place to be for anyone who appreciates antique glass.
Colleen and I have been to several national shows in the past and have never been disappointed or left without feeling rejuvenated about our hobby. The Federation of Historic Bottle Collectors and everyone involved is to be commended for putting on such a well-organized event.
If any of our members have never been to one of the national shows, you owe it to yourself to attend one. Reno 2025 is less than a year away!
In the meantime, there are many local shows coming soon. We hope to see you there!
Wishing good health and happiness to everyone.
Jerry Dixon
